Graduation Day!!!
Nicaragua’s
school runs February to November. Maria’s
graduation from Primera (6th Grade) was held in December. It is really a big deal graduating from
Primera. I guess because not many make
it to Secondario graduation (US equivalent to High School).

There is much preparation for the big day. Of course there are the school pictures and
the exams but there is also ordering of the ring – custom made of course
because most everything is made to order in Nicaragua
unless it is the endless rows of lingerie at the outdoor market.
